155 Simcoe St. South, Oshawa

This project was made possible by the City of Oshawa, with support by Mayor Dan Carter and members of Council.

With the downtown core of Oshawa, Ontario hit hard by COVID-19, with the removal of foot traffic of those going into our city for work and school, the downtown was facing social challenges that could no longer be ignored. The Mayor's Taskforce for Safety, Security and Well-Being came about due to this, and Signs of Life was there to support a placemaking initiative to make the gateway into our downtown heading north on Simcoe Street more welcoming and vibrant.
