Well, this is going to be fun! I thought I would start a weekly podcast – and venture inside the minds and hearts of the coolest creatives that I seem to collide with every week of my life.

These folks are not shy. They passionately believe in community-focused and community-driven artistic expression, and they do not dream small dreams.

A new mural in downtown Oshawa is hoping to generate conversation around the city’s current identity and how it could be expanded beyond its automotive presence in an effort to create a greener, more sustainable future.

Bringing beauty to the inner city is one of the goals of the collaborative Signs of Life Mural Project, which has partnered up with Green Jobs Oshawa, the Canadian Postal Workers Union and School for Climate and Brazil’s famed muralist Bruno Smoky on a new mural in downtown Oshawa.

Signs of Life, a collaborative art project that recognizes culture as the “fourth economic pillar,” is continuing to add beauty to the downtown streets of Oshawa with murals painted by renowned artists.
