1450 Henry St., Whitby - Station Gallery

Placemaking for Station Gallery's 50th Anniversary

To celebrate their 50th Anniversary and due to COVID-19 restrictions, Station Gallery got creative with their outdoor space and added this outfitted shipping container to their parking lot which also doubles as a bar! Rethinking public space has been pushed into the forefront and we were thrilled that Station Gallery brought Signs of Life on to beautify it, thanks to Bruno Smoky (once again!), supported by SoL's own, Chad Tyson.

Huge thanks to Trinity Design for capturing these beautiful shots of the process: https://trinitydesign.ca/

land acknowledgement

We acknowledge that Durham Region forms part of the traditional and treaty territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, the Mississauga Peoples and the treaty territory of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation.

It is on these ancestral and treaty lands that we live and commit to continuous learning of those that came before us.
